about

THOF A

A sonic somewhere else, where a vacuum tube sun spills into the mysterious depths of an ethereal swamp, and you doggy-paddle through an analogue quagmire. Vibrations from the sasquatch's haunting arpeggios resonate through untuned frequencies, creating an unseen ether of esoteric electricity. In this cavernous world, an oscillator loon calls out for more wires amidst a tree of polyrhythmic delay leaves.

Tribal scissors and gourds played by savannah gnomes add an earthy texture as mystical glottal voices rise, combining to form the ultimate electronic voice phenomenon, echoing like long-dead bubbling voices from a broken ouija board.

THOF B

A scenario where random robots are discussing prices at the market space galleon, while being serenaded by the house band of quantum jazz musicians.

Featured in The Wire (September 2077):

This piece of music features 12 Euclidean patterned rhythms that seem to be blowing their n-dimensional reeds clean, teasing listeners with their broken limbs and poor timing. As if that wasn't enough, the track evolves into languid rhythms with a malfunctioning percussion section, transporting the audience to ghost stairs in a haunted sound studio filled with demon foley.

Throughout the composition, imperceptible shifts in rhythm, micro timings, and unnoticeable tempo shifts keep the listener on their toes. An arpeggio is vividly brought to life through a confluence of random signals and atoms, accompanied by a spectral piper in the background broadcasting sonic warnings.

Phonetic church bells interrupted by buzzing squeaks and squalls, as androids slowly disintegrate on the dancefloor, jerking their limbs in a shower of sparks in a Saint Vitus dance of crumbling microprocessors and degrading wetware creating tubby-esque spring reverb warnings.
A dimensional rift vehicle rises from the static wash, sounding its dub alarm during which, a motif comes and goes, leaving behind a neon fragment of itself, disintegrating tracks as it fades into the distance.

Submariner beats propel the listener further into the unknown, parting dry weeds as they suck down oxygen spheres bubbling from cracks in the trench, all timed to the overarching rhythm of the piece.

An otherworldly musical pilgrimage akin to a dialogue among the robots and jazz musicians. Let yourself dance like the broken limbs of the robots with the spectral echoes of the jazz band providing shelter.
